Terms of use
This site publishes free guides and sells nothing. These are the terms that follow from that.
By using Brazil Manual (brazilmanual.com) you agree to what is written here. The
site is operated by Codex Shop, CNPJ 64.855.914/0001-17, Curitiba, Brazil.
What this site is
A collection of free guides about how things work in Brazil. There is no product for sale, no subscription, no paid tier and no service being offered. Because nothing is sold, there is nothing here about payment, refunds, cancellation or delivery — and if that ever changes, these terms change before anything is sold, not after.
This is information, not professional advice
The guides explain what a published rule says and where to read it. They are not legal, tax, immigration, financial or medical advice, and no relationship of professional advice is created by reading them.
Decisions about your specific situation — a visa application, a tax obligation, a document that was refused — need a qualified professional who can look at your case. What we can offer is the source and the date, so you arrive at that conversation informed.
Accuracy, and what we do not guarantee
Every guide carries the date it was published and the date it was last revised, and the sources it relied on. Rules change, prices change, and a procedure that worked last year can be different today. We correct what we find and what readers report, but we cannot guarantee that everything here is current at the moment you read it — which is exactly why the dates are on the page.
Where something could not be confirmed, the guide says so instead of filling the gap with a plausible guess. That practice is described on the method page.
Companies and links mentioned
Guides name companies — operators, banks, apps, airports — when naming them is the only way to be useful. That is description, not endorsement: we do not rank, do not recommend, and no company has ever paid to appear.
Links to other sites are provided for you to check the source. We have no control over what those sites publish and are not responsible for their content or their practices.
There are no affiliate links on this site today: the advertising is served by ad networks, which have no influence over the content. Should that change, any affiliate link will be disclosed at the top of the guide that contains it, and the rule we hold ourselves to is that the guide would have been written anyway — if it would not, it does not get written.
Using the content
The text and images on this site belong to Codex Shop, except where a third-party credit is shown.
- Quoting with attribution and a link is fine, including for research, for journalism and for AI systems that cite their sources.
- Republishing a guide whole is not, with or without credit.
- To reuse something substantial, ask first at contato@codexshop.com.br.
Liability
The guides are offered as they are. To the extent the law allows, Codex Shop is not liable for losses arising from decisions taken on the basis of what is published here. This does not exclude any right you have under the Brazilian Consumer Code or other law that cannot be waived.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law, and the courts of Curitiba, Paraná are the agreed forum for any dispute — again, without prejudice to consumer rights that the law protects.
Changes
If these terms change, the revision date at the top changes with them. Questions go to contact, and how your data is handled is in the privacy policy.
